What an incredible time I am having in the village!
There are so many highlights, here's just a few...
I was so proud that our first medal for Australia in Rio was Men's Team Archery. Great work Taylor, Ryan and Alec.
So exciting at the pool to see Kyle Chalmers' win at age 18 and Cam give him a huge congratulations. Maddie's silver in the fly and silver in a girls relay. Such an honor to be cheering them on!
Riveting watching Shooter Catherine Skinner taking out gold!
Loved watching the Volleyball girls battling it out.
From rowing to Trampoline to cycling, it was a bronze for Anna Meares and now it's time to get ready for more midnight beach volleyball!

Watch my video below for a full recap in the village:

Keep cheering everyone on...they said they could hear you cheering!

We are so incredibly proud of our team!!
I am looking forward to all sports in the last week....the sailing, basketball, hockey, water polo and athletics are all coming up!!!

I have taken some time out to be a part of the World Olympians Association board meetings. This is such an important role as we look at how Olympians can make a difference in their communities and be positive role models all over the world. Our board is very diverse and I look forward to the discussions on the coming days. Our time together started with a field trip to the beach volleyball! Unsolicited by me!

Have you entered in the #QLDRIO16 PJ competition yet? It’s easy! Even Steven Bradbury is getting in on it!
Share your Qantas PJ’s pic on social media using the hashtag to be in the draw. Multiple entries allowed!

Entries Close August 30th, winners announced Sept 7th.

It is with your support that these athlete's dreams are realised, thank you.

Stay tuned for more updates from Rio!
